Skyvan vacuum pump issue

Greetings!

I've been flying the Skyvan a lot lately and have come to notice something: after flight, I shutdown the aircraft according to the checklist and save the flight.  For each instance, every time I load the flight and follow the startup procedure correctly, the aircraft has no suction.  Even a reset of "fix all systems" from the aircraft failures menu doesn't address my issue.  Any idea what is wrong?  Perhaps I am doing something incorrect or is this an issue others can replicate?

Thanks kindly in advance for your reply!

Thanks for the always-quick reply, my friend.  I've been reading a lot today about a multitude of issues that people have reported in the various forums regarding abnormalities after loading a saved flight.  This evening I took a Skyvan break and flew my SR22 REP from a saved flight.  The CDI on the G1000 was incorrect and couldn't be fixed.  A fresh flight restart corrected the issue, just as it does with the Skyvan vacuum pump.

At this point, after looking at the Skyvan from top to bottom, I believe the issue is on the XP12 side.  I am 99.9% certain it is not something I am doing procedurally, nor do I see any issues with the Skyvan itself.  I am curious if you find anything.  Thank you for looking.

A funny story, on a similar note: I was using the REP B58 and every time I loaded a saved flight, the airplane would drop about 6 feet onto the ramp, bending both propellers every time.  LOL, it put a big hurt on my FSE bank balance!  :D  :D  :D  I dumped her after three consecutive episodes...talk about frustration!

I'm happy to report that we can blame this issue on XP12.  I've done a dozen tests and the issue only happens after loading a saved flight.  Fresh starts from the main menu are no problem.  Also, a normal shutdown and startup on the same flight is no issue.

where the sr-22 and skyvan are similar is they dont have a prop handle. not sure on the baron. the missing prop handle issue was fixed a couple days ago for the skyvan and c-130 and l-100-30. i haven't done a saved flight in years in x-plane and been a while for me in FSE. i think everyone will have better startup results with the next update for the skyvan and c-130 and l-100-30. all due to ship this month. i haven't noticed any suction gauge issue for the skyvan from a cold start after the fix.

and i just found the flashlight in x-plane. nice add there. works good for a cold and dark start. i used to use the prep aircraft for boarding in the menu. it feels way more cold and dark with the flashlight hehe.
