v12.xx updates in the works

people dont realize this is a hot rod. also considered a bush plane. true classic ride with wooden main wing. supposed to give a softer ride.

dont have time for custom work at the moment. what are differences in the E model?

E model has air-stair door, 3 rows of 2 seats (no bench) and a Queen Air style panel (no piano keys or throw over yoke).

i do like the queen panel. its easier to find switches and fuses.

c-130 and l-100-30 update in the works for steerable yoke and better switch icons for both 3d and VR use. and the dhc-5 buffalo is receiving the same. will work on more airplanes as time passes with the same thing in mind.

in general:
button icons will be clickable
hand icons will be click and drag
left and right arrow for click to rotate
4 way arrow icons for yoke movement
will also be adding tooltips such as Auto Mixture and Yoke Toggle

x-plane v12.08 update was just released today. currently i have not seen any indication of a fix for prop reverse. has anyone seen or noticed any changes or fixes?

will be shipping the Buffalo soon. the c-130 will follow the next week. still working on props for the c-130 and l-100-30. trying to get them to reverse. so far a no go. still broken in v12.08 as far as i can tell. they broke the reverse prop for turbines back around april '23. especially the large airplanes. sometimes the smaller planes will function. v11 works just fine. proof that if it aint broke dont fix it? seems like it would apply here.

Awesome! Are the props the only thing not working in the c-130? If so, and the v11 doesn't have that issue, could we get the v11? Thanks

its the wee hours of the morning and uploaded to the x-hangar.com store are the c-130, l-100-30, and dhc-5 buffalo updates. both have now steerable yokes and better icons for switches in VR and 3D. it may take a day or 2 to show at the .org store. links were just sent. the reverse prop is still a WIP for the c-130 and l-100-30. still awaiting a fix from laminar. the dhc-5 buffalo will be a new airplane available at the .org store. i know some of you have been waiting.

Thanks for this update! Is there a way to know when they have updated their link for those who already purchased it - will the zip file be named differently? Or is there a way I can get it here?

no reply yet from the .org. maybe they are on vacation.

you log into your account to download files. the latest file will be available to download. no need to check version numbers.

x-plane.org store: you log into your account to download files. there are no logs that i know of presently.

i ship updates usually to the both stores same day. and its out of my hands so to speak when the .org store will make the updates available. usually, they are pretty good at posting promptly. sometimes you have to wait.

work on the skyvan continues with the addition of an Avitab display and better buttons for the transponder and ADF radios.

OK folks i pulled the cessna 404 in the hangar for some updates.

new updates will include the following:
new yoke steer
new instrument glass
new volt/amp gauges in 3d
new icons for switches in both VR and 3d
new avitab display
new menu for passenger and co-pilot hide

making moves to get the Bellanca Super Viking updated to v12 and improving the 3D and VR experience.

diamond katana update in the works for better VR and 3D experience for both v11 and v12.

currently reworking the AP numbers for better performance and adding new icons for switches and knobs.
