and for a bonus this model will have an additional floats version!  8)

still need to add gear hardware and other parts such as cabling. and certainly, flight testing will take some considerable time.

still have to add cabling and disable gear door function on the fuselage. then add floats in planemaker and start to test fly. and add ladders to the rear passenger doors.

if i were writing a book on how to fly x-plane with floats i would tittle it "Once you land your stuck". v12 is still a no go with floats. can't get enough take off speed on the water. actually, is no surprise. i have tried a few airplanes and none of them have enough take off speed. basically, the water makes too much drag. as soon as you land your speed decreases quite rapidly. like you have your brakes on full on land. hopefully they will adjust v12. i wont hold my breath. just being honest. i will include the v12 float model in a .zip. you can unpack and tinker with it if you wish. v11 on the other performs well on the water. its like night and day compared to v12. v12 is also sketchy on landing. expect roll overs if you do not have the correct rudder response. and i did give v12 a bunch of effort. i actually have been working on several airplanes trying to get them to work correctly on water over some months. i did look online today and there is nothing helpful to apply. we can consider it on the back burner for now. i have to move on. i have other stuff to work on.
