latest tips as pictured below. i ended up making a round low drag model wingtip for the main wings with a cut out for the nav light and strobe. has a glass cover. the tip on the horiz.stab probably wont stay. i may make a rounded like the front wings or none to match the vert stab.

capped the fuselage rear gear well on the float version.

reconstructed the wingtips for the main wing. using LEDs at the minimum size. will probably increase the size vertically to reshape.

added an optional tip. can install in planemaker. instructions will be in the manual. basically its a swap. i seen some high wing models with something similar. its more common on a low wing model. such as a TBM 900. or an airliner. still experimenting and thinking on another design.

Ah yes, 'winglets'.  Opinion is divided on their effectiveness.  Aerodynamicists feel that they generate enough extra efficiency to offset their weight and drag while marketers feel they generate aircraft sales.

I think they look cool.  :-)

i did work some more on the wingtip. i made the boot a bit bigger. and added a couple more liveries to the collection. maybe are too loud. or too much stripe. time will tell as it always does. always like gold and white together. if i had a hot rod it would probably be a '69 camaro white with gold z28 stripes.  ;D speaking of hot rod this airplane is a hot rod if i ever flew one. it has a low stall and a fast cruise at 200K.

completely rebuilt the wingtip. needed to move the light housing. needed some reshaping. finally happy with the results.  8) added a couple more liveries. i been enjoying the time in the spray booth.

i was day dreaming today about a 10 foot longer model with 2 engines. think it would rock.

It looks absolutely wonderful.
I like all the wingtips TBH.
